Well, that's the first step. I created a blog name. For years friends and family have been telling me to do something with my creativity/obsessions but I kept coming up with random excuses. Here are some of them...

1. I'm too busy obsessing about my own home projects, I don't have time to blog about each step of the way
2. I would never be good enough to have a successful blog
3. People wont read it
4. How do I even get started?
5. Oops, I forgot to take before and after pictures of that project, I guess I cant blog it.
6. Maybe next year when both kids are in school full time and I have more time

These excuses have carried me through several years but they all seem sort of silly now because what better time to try something new then NOW. Honestly the main reason I haven't done this before is I never thought I was good enough for other people to want to read about my ideas. Part of me may still think that at times but the other part of me is saying SCREW it! What have I got to loose?

A little background on me....

I am completely obsessed with interior design...specifically, farmhouse, rustic, industrial, and a touch of shabby chic but just a touch...let me make that clear. I scour Pinterest for hours whenever I can and if I decide to tackle a project, its usually happening before I can talk myself out of it.
